Dec. 20, 2013 – There’s just one month left for NBA fans to cash in on a chance to win a trip to the 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans. The Oklahoma Lottery’s Shoot to Win second chance promotion will be choosing the winners Jan. 21.
Step one, of course, is to pick up a Shoot to Win ticket. The game costs just $2 and offers a top prize worth $20,000. Overall, the odds of winning any of the 13 prizes available are about 1 in 4.
Should you not score one of those 13 prizes however, every non-winning Shoot to Win ticket could be the your ticket to the 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend or even the 2014 NBA Finals.
To enter into the Oklahoma Lottery’s second chance promotions, players need to mail in or drop off non-winning tickets to the Lottery’s headquarters in Oklahoma City. It’s a simple process, but you can visit their promotions page for general guidelines on entering.
The Jan. 21 drawing will decide the two winners of NBA All-Star Weekend packages. These getaway gifts start off with round-trip airfare for two from Oklahoma City to New Orleans, where this year’s All-Star Weekend will take place.
The Lottery will put up each winner and their guest in a hotel for two nights. Along with two tickets to the events on All-Star Sunday, the winners will also get passes to a Pre-Game Party and a $500 gift card.
Second chance contests like this one always offer great odds of turning a non-winning ticket into unforgettable experiences or big cash prizes, but you can’t win if you don’t play.
