Win a Custom Vacation in Mega Millions Promotion

March 19, 2014 – The Mega Millions jackpot may have reset to its $15 million starting point after two tickets split a $400 million prize, but that doesn’t mean there’s not a lot for Mega Millions players to win.

And Mega Millions players in Oklahoma have an extra shot at winning between  now and April 30 with the Oklahoma Lottery’s Mega Summer Getaway promotion.

Four winners will be chosen in a drawing April 30, and each will get to plan a custom vacation for themselves, their family, friends or anyone else who might need a getaway.

Here’s how it works:

To receive an entry ticket for the promotional drawing, players need to spend $5 on a single Mega Millions ticket.  An entry form will print out with that qualifying purchase, which players must mail or drop off to the Oklahoma Lottery commission.

The promotion actually kicked off Saturday, so some players may already have gotten their entries in.  For those players who haven’t yet entered, the process is simple.

The Lottery will need some basic information about you, and then you can mail an envelope with one or several entries to a Lottery P.O. Box.  The address is:

Mega Millions Promo
P.O. Box 548810
Oklahoma City, OK.  73154-8810

Players can also drop their tickets off at Lottery Headquarters, in the claims office.

Once the winners have been chosen April 30, they’ll contact the winners by phone or mail to let them know they’ve won.

The four Mega Getaway prizes are actually $2,500 travel vouchers, which winners can use as they see fit.

The vouchers will expire 12 months after their claimed, so winners will have to plan their Mega Getaway vacations for the next year.

According to the promotion’s full rules, however, the vacations don’t have to be all that “Mega” after all.

Any of the $2,500 prize not used will be credited back to the travel voucher and can be used towards another trip – one vacation or several over the next year, all Oklahoma players have to do for their chance to win is pick up a $5 Mega Millions ticket and send in that entry.
