Trucks and Bucks is Back for Nebraska Lottery Players

Jan 30, 2014 – The Nebraska Lottery is bringing back its popular Truck$ & Buck$ scratch-off game, and they’ll be offering plaeyrs a second chance to win a 2014 Chevy Silverado.

The promotion begins next Monday, Feb. 3, and will run through May 13.  Players with non-winning Trucks and Bucks tickets can enter them into the contest through the Nebraska Lottery’s MVP Club, which is free to join.

But for this second-chance promotion, its not only the Trucks and Bucks tickets that are eligible.  In fact, players can enter any of the Nebraska Lottery’s $2 scratch-offs into the Trucks and Bucks second chance promotion.

For one entry, players will need to enter the codes from $10 worth of  non-winning tickets from any $2 scratch-off game.  Once the codes from non-winning tickets are entered, players should hang onto the tickets themselves – the contest winner will need to present their tickets before claiming their prize.

The Lottery will hold two drawings during the promotion.  The entry period for the first drawing will close at 5 p.m. CT March 18, and the drawing will be held the next day.  The entry period for the second drawing will close at 5 p.m. May 13, and the drawing will be held May 14.

In each drawing, five semi-finalists will be chosen from the pool of entries.  Once all ten semi-finalists have been named, their names will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing, where one lucky Trucks and Bucks winner will score the 2014 Chevy Silverado, valued at more than $50,000.

The nine runners-up won’t leave empty handed, however.  Each runner-up will receive a cash prize between $500 and $3,000 and a $100 E-10 gift card (for ethanol-enriched fuel) from the Nebraska Ethanol Board.
