Time’s Running Out For a Chance to Win MLB All-Star Tickets

Aug. 21, 2013 – The New Jersey Lottery’s “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” second-chance drawings are coming to a close, with only three drawings left.  Today is the last day to enter non-winning tickets for the Aug. 28 drawing, with tickets to the 2014 MLB All-Star Game waiting to be won.

“Take Me Out to the Ball Game” is a $2 scratch-off game from the New Jersey Lottery, and you’ll need three of them to enter for a chance to win the tickets.  The second-chance promotion has been running since early May, and continues to the end of September.

In each drawing, one winner is chosen for the grand prize package, and 94 other winners receive a prize package full of awesome MLB merchandise, including a tailgate toss game and even a reclining portable couch for those parking lot parties.

In the first five drawings for the game, the grand prize was two tickets to games three and four of the MLB World Series, with lodging taken care of.

In the last five drawings of the promotion, the Lottery offered up tickets to the 2014 MLB All-Star game in Minneapolis, Minn.  The prize package includes four days and three nights in the middle of the All-Star action, with field-level tickets to the All-Star game, the Home Run Derby, and other great attractions during All-Star Weekend.

The New Jersey Lottery will handle round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations for the winner and a guest, and they’ll throw in two of the MLB merchandise prize packs and $1,000 spending cash.

Tickets, travel fees, prize packs, and cash – that’s a grand slam of a grand prize, so be sure to enter your non-winning “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” scratch-off tickets now in the New Jersey Lottery’s (free) VIP Club at njlottery.net
