Oct. 10, 2013 – The Tennessee Education Lottery announced Wednesday that it would be adding a morning draw to its Cash 3 and Cash 4 games’ drawing schedules Monday through Saturday.
Other than adding a third drawing for six days out of the week, there will be no other changes to either games’ schedule, and their prize structure won’t be changing either. Cash 3 will still offer players a top prize of $500, and the top prize on Cash 4 will remain $5,000.
The changes are set to take effect Oct. 19, the same day as changes to the Mega Millions game go into effect.
Because of the changes, the Tennessee Lottery must limit advance play ahead of the Oct. 19 start date for the morning drawing.
Friday will be the last day players can buy a full seven days of advance play tickets for the midday drawings, and Saturday will be the final day for evening drawings – these dates are essentially one-week warnings ahead of the changes.
Following those deadlines, players will still be able to purchase advance play tickets, but will see the number of advance plays available decrease by one each day.
