South Carolina Man Wins New Taxes Paid Game

May 9, 2013 – The first and so far only winner of the Carolina Cash 6 – $200,000 Taxes Paid game claimed his prize this morning in Columbia, S.C.

The Spartanburg, S.C., man, who did not want to be named, said he plays the new Cash 6 game from the South Carolina Education Lottery because each $2 ticket has three sets of numbers.

Eager to win another Cash 6 jackpot, the winner said he will keep playing and will “find his luck again somewhere down the line”.

The lucky South Carolinian matched all six numbers in the April 22 drawing with one set of numbers on his ticket.  The numbers were 1, 3, 12, 17, 30, and 32.

The Cash 6 top prize is worth $294,118 before state and federal taxes, and the odds of matching six of six numbers are 1 in 920,227.  Second-tier and lower prizes start at $1,000
