LotteryHUB – Social Media Scam Alert

Jan 19, 16 LotteryHUB – Social Media Scam Alert

Facebook and Instagram scam

Dear LotteryHUB Followers,

We have recently received reports that some of our enthusiasts and lottery fans are being contacted on both Facebook and Instagram by an entity that uses the LotteryHUB logo. These scammers are promising large prizes, asking for money, personal information and even bank accounts. If you are contacted by one of these entities, please do not respond and delete immediately. We DO NOT, under any circumstance, contact our users through social media and we NEVER ask for money or personal information. If you are being contacted and asked for money, personal information, credit card numbers or online accounts, please do not engage and report this handle or entity to the FBI immediately. Beware of these scams, as these entities are using our intellectual property (our logo), fake websites and telephone numbers.

In the event our users are actual winners of any sort of prize, they will be contacted directly by Shoutz, Inc. and through the corporate Shoutz.com email domain. In addition, the only personal information Shoutz, Inc. would ever ask for is for IRS reporting purposes, done only through private email and never through social media platforms.

We appreciate our users and their privacy, and consider it our duty to inform and protect our constituents from online predators and scammers.

Thank you,

Team LotteryHUB
