May 12, 2014 – The Rhode Island Lottery yesterday held the first new mid-day drawing for The Numbers game, an in-state draw game that Rhode Islanders have been playing since 1994.
The new drawing time gives players a whole week’s worth of extra chances to win on the game; midday drawings will be held seven days a week at 1:30 p.m.
Evening drawings for The Numbers Game are held at 6:59 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and at 6:29 p.m. Sundays, and all evening drawings are televised.
The new midday drawings will not be televised, but a video of each midday drawing will be posted the lottery’s website, rilot.com, shortly after the winning numbers are drawn. The videos will also be available on the lottery’s YouTube page.
In the first midday drawing, the winning numbers were 0, 1, 4, 4, and today’s midday numbers were 6, 6, 3, 7.
To win a prize, players must match the winning numbers in one of nine combinations, including matching just two of the four numbers in a row.
The Numbers Game also allows players to choose from four different wager amounts, making for 36 possible prizes on the game.
