Powerball Jackpot Rolls Past $100 Million

Nov 11, 13 Powerball Jackpot Rolls Past $100 Million

Nov. 11, 2013 – Nobody won the $87 million Powerball jackpot up for grabs Saturday night, so the prize rolled over to sit at $110 million ahead of Wednesday’s drawing.  The cash value for the jackpot is $62.2 million.

The numbers drawn Saturday night were 3, 9, 37, 49, 56 and the red Powerball was 32.  While nobody was able to match all six numbers to win the jackpot prize, two players did match the first five numbers, scoring $1 million second prizes.

Those second-prize winning tickets were sold in Maryland and Pennsylvania.  Neither player chose to add the PowerPlay option to their ticket for an extra $1, which would have doubled their $1 million prize to $2 million.

Only one third-prize winner chose to add PowerPlay to their ticket, so that player will receive a $40,000 prize.  Another 18 third-prize winners will be able to claim $10,000 prizes for matching four white balls and the Powerball.

Almost 500,000 winners were made Saturday night, collectively raking in more than $5.2 million in prize money.

Don’t forget to pick up your tickets before sales close ahead of Wednesday’s drawing, and remember that you can catch every Powerball drawing live on your smartphone with the LotteryHUB mobile app, free for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone.
