Jan. 13, 2014 – Nobody matched all six winning numbers in Saturday night’s Powerball drawing, so the jackpot rolled over again, growing to an estimated $93 million ahead of Wednesday’s drawing.
The winning numbers drawn Saturday night were 10, 15, 33, 48, 54 and the red Powerball was 34. In total, there were more than 400,000 tickets matching a winning combination of those numbers, with more than $3.8 million in winnings paid out.
Saturday’s biggest winner was a player from New York, whose ticket matched all five of the white numbers drawn, but missed the red Powerball. That player will receive a $1 million second prize. Had they added the PowerPlay option to their ticket for an extra $1, that prize would have doubled to $2 million.
Eighteen players were lucky enough to match the red Powerball and four of the white numbers drawn, a third-prize winning combination. 15 of those players will receive the normal $10,000 prize, while three players who added PowerPlay have won themselves $40,000 prizes.
Wednesday’s estimated $93 million jackpot carries with it a $52 million cash value. As Wednesday will be the last drawing before the jackpot passes the $100 million mark (unless someone wins it all), its the perfect time to get in on “jackpot fever” a little early.
Don’t forget to buy your tickets before sales cut off ahead of Wednesday’s drawing, and remember you can enter your numbers into the newest version of the LotteryHUB mobile app, and we’ll keep track of your winnings for you.
Free for iOS, Android and Windows Phone, the LotteryHUB mobile app is the mobile home of Powerball. Players can stream every drawing live, right from their smartphones, and always stay on top of their game.
Remember: you can’t win if you don’t play.
