March 13, 2014 – Nobody was able to match all six winning Powerball numbers drawn Wednesday night, so the jackpot prize rolled over for a third time since a California player won a $60 million jackpot March 1.
Ahead of Saturday night’s drawing, the Powerball jackpot sits at an estimated $70 million and carries with it a cash value worth $39.5 million.
The winning numbers drawn Wednesday night were 14, 15, 28, 37, 54 and the red Powerball was 10. The Power Play multiplier drawn Wednesday was 2x, so players who added Power Play to their tickets and won a prize will see double the normal prize value.
One lucky player from Virginia became a new millionaire Wednesday night; a single ticket sold in Virginia matched all five white numbers drawn to win Powerball’s $1 million second prize.
Ten other players won big with Powerball’s third prize Wednesday. Two third-prize winners added the Power Play option to their tickets and will receive $20,000 third prizes, while the other eight third-prize winners will receive Powerball’s normal $10,000 third prize.
Wednesday’s drawing made almost 427,000 winners who collectively won about $3.5 million in prize money.
Saturday night’s drawing will be held at 11 p.m. EDT and, as always, players can stream the drawing live, right on their smartphone with the free LotteryHUB mobile app.
iOS and Android users can also take advantage of LotteryHUB’s ticket tracking tools. Save your numbers into the app and LotteryHUB will check them for you once the winning numbers are drawn. If it looks like you’re a winner, we’ll send you an email to let you know – never miss out on a prize again.
