Powerball jackpot continues to rise, reaching $60 million

Aug 15, 13 Powerball jackpot continues to rise, reaching $60 million

Last night’s Powerball drawing has come and gone, and the Powerball jackpot remains unclaimed, growing to $60 million for Saturday’s drawing.

Wednesday’s Powerball drawing boasted an estimated $50 million jackpot. After no one was able to claim the top prize, the jackpot rises to $60 million for the drawing on Saturday August 17.

The drawing did produce three new millionaires who won $1 million with Match 5. The winners, from California, South Carolina and Virginia, were able to correctly guess the five white balls drawn, but none were able to match the red Power Ball. There were no $2 million winners through Match 5 with Power Play.

In total, the drawing awarded $6,340,785 in non-jackpot prizes. There were a total of 484,336 non-jackpot winners who won prizes ranging from $4 to $1 million.

The next Powerball drawing will be Saturday August 17 at 11:00pm EST.  To watch the drawing live on your phone, download the free LotteryHUB app. LotteryHUB is your network for lotteries with customized feed, live drawings, winning numbers, and more.
