New York Lottery Begins Selling Halloween Raffle Tickets

Sept. 30, 2013 – The New York Lottery yesterday began selling tickets for the Halloween Millions Raffle, its part of a multi-state raffle in which six other states are participating.

New York’s Halloween Millions game will also include a “Bonus Number” game.

Each Halloween Millions Raffle ticket sold will include a “Bonus Number” for the next day’s Midday Numbers drawing.  Matching the “Bonus Number” from a Halloween Millions Raffle ticket will win players a prize of $10.

The Halloween Millions Raffle tickets will be on sale until midnight on Halloween, and the final drawing for the grand prizes will be held the afternoon of November 1.

Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, and Oklahoma will all be participating in the multi-state raffle along with New York

There will be at least two $1 million grand prizes awarded through the multi-state raffle.  In each state that does not have a $1 million prize winner, a separate drawing will be held to determine the winner of a $50,000 second prize.

Each Halloween Millions Raffle ticket will cost $10, and there is no limit on the number of tickets to be sold between now and Halloween.  With every 200,000 tickets sold, another $1 million prize will be added to the grand prize drawing.

You can find more information about the multi-state raffle through the Multi-State Lottery Association, or by visiting your state Lottery’s website.
