Natural State Jackpot at Record High

March 20, 2014 – The Arkansas Lottery’s Natural State Jackpot game will feature its largest-ever prize in tonight’s drawing a $300,000 jackpot that has been growing since January.

The last jackpot won on the game was a $295,000 prize – then the record high – won on Jan. 14, 2014.

After a Natural State Jackpot is won, the jackpot resets to a $25,000 starting point and grows by $5,000 each time nobody wins the top prize.  The now-record $300,000 jackpot has rolled over a whopping 55 times since the last jackpot win.

The jackpot prize has survived six drawings each week for the past nine weeks or so – two months and six days – to reach the record height, and it could keep growing.

That’s only if nobody matches all five numbers in tonight’s drawing, though, and “record jackpot” tends to bring a bit of a jump in ticket sales for any game.

Playing the $1 game is very easy – anyone could be the record jackpot winner tonight.  Simply plunk down a dollar bill at your nearest lottery retailer, choose five numbers, 1-39, or get a Quick Pick and keep your fingers crossed.

Natural State Jackpot is drawn Monday through Saturday at 8 p.m., and players can pick up their tickets up to 7:59 p.m., just one minute before the drawing.

Natural State Jackpot tickets are eligible for the Arkansas Lottery’s Points for Prizes program too.  Just look for the Points for Prizes code, log in or register for the Prize Store, and enter your code.
