Missouri Has A Few New Millionaires

June 17, 2013 – This weekend brought some big payouts to Missouri Lottery players – a lucky couple won a $2 million prize with Missouri’s Lotto game, and one lucky Powerball player won the only second-tier prize Saturday.

The $1 million Powerball ticket from Saturday night’s drawing was sold at a QuickTrip store in O’Fallon, Mo., and another O’Fallon resident won $10,000 on a ticket bought from a different QuickTrip store.

The lucky couple who won with Lotto, Amanda Richardson and Michael Magarian, are thrilled to have $2 million to help pay for their upcoming wedding and pay off some of their bills.

Even better, the couple, from Dexter, Mo., is expecting their first child this year.  Their win on the June 5 Lotto drawing should help welcome their baby into the world.

Richardson, 20, told the Missouri Lottery that it “felt like a dream,” and that she and Magarian had to look over the ticket several times before believing they’d won.

The winning numbers from the June 5 Lotto drawing were 5, 7, 26, 38, 41, and 42.
