Michigan Lottery Introduces “Raise The Stakes”

May 31, 2013 – Starting June 4, The Michigan Lottery’s new game Raise the Stakes will be available for purchase at retail locations across the state, and it will be raising the bar for traditional scratch-off games.

That’s because Raise the Stakes isn’t just a scratch-off.  In fact, scratching the ticket is only the first of up to 60 ways for players to win!

Here’s how this revolutionary new cross-platform game will work:

Players buy Raise the Stakes scratch-offs just like any other ticket, and scratch to see if they’ve won any of the $7 million in instant prizes.

But each ticket also has a unique entry code under the scratch-off material.  This code allows players to compete in daily drawings for $100 prizes, and in bi-weekly drawings for a progressive jackpot.  That’s three games in one!

Players can either enter the code online, or use their smartphones to scan a QR code printed right on the ticket.

The progressive jackpot can reach a maximum of $30,000, and players can even team up on the Raise the Stakes website, or the Raise the Stakes free mobile app, the first of its kind.

Raise the Stakes even offers players a chance to connect with other players through the website or mobile app, teaming up to increase everyone’s chances of winning.

The scratch-off ticket is only the start of up to 60 ways to win with Raise the Stakes
