Oct. 28, 2013 – Nobody was able to match all six numbers drawn for Friday night’s $65 million estimated jackpot, so the top prize rolled over again. Ahead of Tuesday night’s drawing, the jackpot is valued at an estimated $75 million, with a cash option of $41 million.
Friday’s numbers were 6, 16, 45, 54, 60 and the Mega Ball was 15. The Megaplier multiplier drawn Friday was 2x, so non-jackpot prizes were double their normal value for players who added the $1 Megaplier to their tickets.
Only one player managed to match the first five numbers drawn Friday. That second-prize winning was purchased in California, where prize payouts are pari-mutuel, which means prize values depend on the number of people playing. The winner can expect a $479070 prize.
Overall, the second Mega Millions drawing under the game’s new format made more than 1,275,000 winners, who collectively raked in about $3.5 million in prize money.
Tuesday night’s drawing will be held at 11 p.m. Tuesday, so don’t forget to get your tickets as the jackpot approaches triple-digits.
