Feb. 10, 2014 – Nobody hit the Mega Millions jackpot Friday night, so the big prize, which had just passed the $100 million mark, grew again to reach an estimated $122 million ahead of Tuesday night’s drawing.
The winning numbers Friday night were 11, 21, 23, 35, 64 and the Mega Ball was 10. The Megaplier drawn Friday night was 3x, so players who added the optional multiplier to their non-jackpot winning tickets will see three times the normal prize amount.
Though nobody was able to match all six numbers, there were several players who matched five of the six winning numbers, including one second-prize winner from West Virginia.
The winning ticket sold in West Virginia matched all five white numbers drawn Friday night, so that winner is a new millionaire thanks to Mega Millions.
Another 23 Mega Millions players matched four white numbers and the Mega Ball to win a third prize Friday night. 20 of those players will receive Mega Millions’ normal $5,000 prize, while the other three tickets, with Megaplier added, will pay out $15,000.
Overall, there were more than 1.5 million winners in Friday’s Mega Millions drawing. Those winning tickets collectively earned about $4.3 million in prize money.
Tuesday night’s drawing will be held at 11 p.m. EST, and the estimated $122 million jackpot carries with it a cash value of $67 million.
