Mass. Lottery Changing Drawing Times for 3 Games

Oct 13, 14 Mass. Lottery Changing Drawing Times for 3 Games

Oct. 13, 2014 – The Massachusetts Lottery announced Friday that drawing times for two draw-style games and Keno – a draw-style terminal game – would be changing at the end of October.

The Numbers Game and Mass Cash are the two draw games to have their schedules changed.

Drawings for The Numbers Game are held seven days a week, and only one day will see a change in schedule.  Sunday’s evening drawings will be moved an hour later, from 6:57 p.m. to 7:57 p.m.

Because of the hour change in drawing time, players will be able to place bets on the game for another hour as well; ticket sales will now close at 7:45 p.m.

Mass Cash, also drawn seven days a week, will move every drawing back an hour from the normal 10 p.m. drawing.  That means that every Mass Cash drawing will now be held at 11 p.m., and ticket sales for the game will remain open until 9:45.

Finally, Keno players will be able to place bets earlier on Sundays; the Massachusetts Lottery says Sunday drawings will now begin at 10 a.m., two hours earlier than the current noon starting time.

During the rest of the week, the first drawing will remain at 5:04 a.m., and drawings will still take place about every four minutes between 5:04 a.m. and 1:00 a.m.
