Maryland Lottery Launches Digital Marketplace

Oct. 22, 2013 – The Maryland Lottery announced Monday that its My Lottery Rewards program had expanded to include a Digital Marketplace.

The new Digital Marketplace will allow My Lottery Rewards members to redeem non-winning lottery tickets for points that they can use to purchase goods from an online store.

Players can also use their Rewards points to score great discounts to local businesses, restaurants and more, essentially turning non-winning Lottery tickets into a coupon.

The online store will feature e-books and audio books, digital music downloads, and even movies that players can rent or buy, and then stream to mobile or desktop devices.

The Lottery says that the Digital Marketplace features more than 6 million songs, half a million books, and thousands of movies.

Maryland Lottery players who want to log into the Digital Marketplace need to be members of the My Lottery Rewards program.  My Lottery Rewards is free to sign up for and free to use, and entering codes from non-winning Lottery tickets will earn players points.

My Lottery Rewards members can also enter into second-chance drawings and special promotions – the My Lottery Rewards program is a great way to stretch your Lottery dollars.
