Maryland Lottery Giving Away One Million Rewards Points

Nov. 8, 2013 – The Maryland Lottery is giving their loyal players a chance to get thousands of free My Lottery Rewards points just before the holidays this year.  Through a My Lottery drawing, the Lottery will give away 1 million points in all.

My Lottery Rewards is an online player loyalty program that lets players enter non-winning tickets into second chance programs, or redeem them for points to be used in the Prize Store.

Registering for My Lottery Rewards is free, and entering into the special drawing for the free point giveaway costs just 10 points.

Players can enter the 1 million point giveaway from now to Dec. 15, and will have a chance to win as much as 30,000 My Lottery Rewards points.

The 1 million Rewards points will be divided among 85 winners through the drawing.  10 players will win the 30,000 point top prize, 15 players will win 20,000 points, 20 players will win 10,000 points, and 40 players will win 5,000 points.

Prizes Store items start at prices as low as 900 points, so winners of the contest will have plenty of great items to choose from, just in time for the holidays.

If all the shopping is done, points can also be used in the Lottery’s newly launched Digital Marketplace to buy books, movies, audiobooks and more.  Plus, the Prize Store also features local discounts that players can buy online with Rewards points and redeem in local businesses.
