Each year, the La Fleur Lottery Almanac puts on a Lottery Symposium in Washington D.C. and this year’s symposium is a huge success.
From April 28- May 1 at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Washington D.C. Lottery leaders from all over are there to learn and spread more about their local lotteries.
In the first few days, the La FLeur Symposium has had a Soul Train Presentation, a focus on the lottery customer, and more! In the past year, Wyoming has passed a law to allow lotteries and California has added the multi-state lottery system of Powerball. Along with new lotteries, current state lotteries have been adding games, and working to move to online sales. The past year has been a huge year of change for lotteries and La Fleur Symposium has brought them all together to see what has changed and what is yet to come.
The biggest topic of interest is that most lotteries are aiming to sell tickets online. Minnesota is just one of many states working to move their sales to an online medium, and they are pushing for a quick an easy move. Most lottery leaders are working hard to make this possible.
With lottery leaders boogying to soul and others embracing the digital age, La FLeur 2013 Lottery Symposium is the center of lottery today.
