Oct. 1, 2013 – The Kansas Lottery today began selling tickets for its Holiday Millionaire Raffle, the fifth year that Kansas Lottery players have been able to play the end-of-year raffle.
Holiday Millionaire tickets will be sold at Kansas Lottery retailers for $20, and there will only be 175,000 available. Tickets will be sold in sequential order, so players don’t need to choose any numbers – simply ask for a Holiday Millionaire Raffle ticket.
The Lottery will hold five Early Bird drawings during the Raffle – three in October and two in November – before the final drawing, scheduled for Dec. 31.
Each Early Bird drawing will make two Kansas players $10,000 richer. The first Early Bird drawing will be held Oct. 13, and you can visit the Kansas Lottery’s Holiday Millionaire Raffle page for the full list of drawing dates.
The final drawing will decide the Holiday Millionaire winner of a $1 million grand prize. Along with that one lucky Kansas Lottery player, more than 2,500 others will receive prizes totaling $400,000 in the final drawing, and the smallest prizes start at $100.
On top of all these chances to win big money, the Lottery this year introduced an instant win opportunity on every Holiday Millionaire Raffle ticket.
Thousands of players will win $50 prizes when they see a Piggy Bank symbol on their Raffle ticket. If you see the Pig, don’t forget to ask your Lottery retailer for your instant win!
