Kansas Lottery’s Ugly Sweater Contest

Nov. 25, 2013 – Itchy wool, frilly sleeves and odd-looking designs are all the rage this time of year; it’s the holiday season and the season for Ugly Sweater parties all across the nation.

The Kansas Lottery wants to celebrate a season where questionable fashion choices can take the top prize, so they’re holding their very own Ugly Sweater contest for Lottery fans on Facebook.

Starting Monday, Dec. 2, Kansas Lottery fans can share photos of their “spirited” sweaters on the Kansas Lottery’s Facebook page for a chance to win free Holiday Sweater scratch-off tickets from the Lottery.

The Lottery will accept photo submissions until Dec. 30, and then Lottery officials will choose the “best, worst sweaters” and let their Facebook fans decide which will take the top prize.

The promotional contest is helping the Lottery get the word out about one of their newest holiday-themed scratch-offs, the Holiday Sweater game.

The $2 tickets offer players odds better than 1 in 4 at winning any prize, and players can win as much as $10,000.

The Kansas Lottery will release more details about the Ugly Sweater contest closer to the start date next Monday, so check the Ugly Sweater promotion page for more details, and be sure to visit the Lottery’s Facebook page to keep up with the competition.
