Kansas Lottery gets new Deputy Director

Communications Director for Kansas Governor Sam Bronback, Sherriene Jones-Sontag, has accepted the job as the Deputy Director of the Kansas Lottery.

Beginning July 8, Jones-Sontag will take over as Deputy director for the Kansas Lottery. Jones-Sontag has worked for Governor Sam Brownback as his press secretary and chief spokeswoman since January 2011. Brownback has given Jones-Sontag his full support and will name a new Communications Manager within the next few weeks.

Jones-Sontag’s new job will include a pay increase as well as an opportunity to help continue the success of the Kansas Lottery.

The Kansas Lottery began in 1986, and in the past 25 years it has given more than $1.3 billion to the State of KAnsas. The Kansas Lottery prides itself on providing fun and funds for the state to improve the lives of the people of Kansas.

The Kansas Lottery is ready to allow Jones-Sontag to join their team give back to the people of Kansas through their games and more.
