Hot Lotto turns up the heat in DC

On May 12, Hot Lotto decided to turn up the heat in the District of Columbia and give better ways to win.

The DC Lottery and Hot Lotto have changed the game to benefit the player. Now when you play Hot Lotto, you have better odds, higher payouts, and the DC Lottery pays your taxed winnings!

Now the DC Lottery Hot Lotto has taken away the guessing game of how much of your winnings don’t come to you. This means that a jackpot advertised as $10 million will equal exactly $10 million.

The revamp also causes the Grand prize to begin at $1 million, with each unwon jackpot increasing by a minimum of $50,000.

Hot Lotto has revamped more than just in the capitol. The Minnesota Lottery with Hot Lotto is now paying full prizes in cash, meaning no more annuity, just cold hard cash.

The DC Lottery was established in 1982 with Charitable Games. The DC Lottery and Charitable Games benefits the general fund for education, recreation, public safety, housing, and child and senior services within the District of Columbia.

Hot Lotto was established in 2002 with the Multi-State Lottery Association. Jackpots begin at $1 million and the game can be played in 15 states and the District of Columbia.
