Oct. 7, 2013 – The Hoosier Lottery yesterday held the second of three Early Bird drawings for its Halloween Millionaire Raffle players, paying out another $50,000 in prizes.
The Halloween Millionaire Raffle, Indiana’s name for the multi-state raffle being held in seven states, will end with the Grand Prize drawing Nov. 1.
Since the Hoosier Lottery started selling tickets about a month ago, they decided to offer players in the state of Indiana a few extra chances to win cash prizes.
Each of the three Early Bird drawings the Hoosier Lottery planned leading up to the game chooses 1,000 raffle tickets, and awards each winner a $50 cash prize.
Winning on one of the Early Bird drawings doesn’t make a ticket ineligible for the rest of the raffle either – players have the opportunity to win on all three Early Bird drawings and in the grand prize drawing Nov. 1.
So far, the Hoosier Lottery has given out $100,000 in prizes to 2,000 winners, and they’ve got another $50,000 in Early Bird cash to award before the final Halloween Millionaire drawing.
The final drawing will award at least two $1 million prizes. For every 200,000 tickets sold across the seven participating states, there will be another $1 million prize added to the pool.
When the winning numbers are drawn, each state that does not have a $1 million prize winner will then hold a separate drawing, which will decide an in-state winner for a $50,000 second prize.

The third and final Early Bird drawing will be held next Monday, so don’t miss your chance to be one of 1,000 winners.
