Hoosier Lottery Hosting Lucky Dog Event

Sept. 19, 2013 – The Hoosier Lottery will be holding an event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Fort Wayne, Ind. tomorrow as part of their Lucky Dog promotion.

The Lottery will be joined by members of the Allen County SPCA and the two groups will be raising awareness of pet adoption services in Indiana.

Visitors to the event will also have a chance to win lottery tickets and other cool prizes by spinning the Lottery’s prize wheel, and the SPCA will be bringing along adoptable dogs in search of a good home.

Earlier this month, the Lottery partnered with the SPCA and Humane Society to launch a new scratch-off game called “Lucky Dog.” ¬†Each ticket features a picture of an adoptable dog, their name, and where they can be adopted.

In addition to the scratch-off game, the Lottery is offering players the chance to win a $25 Lottery Prize Pack each week with their¬†Lucky Dog of the Week Promotion, which is being run through the Hoosier Lottery’s Facebook page.

The Lottery hopes that the scratch-off game and the Lucky Dog of the Week promotion will help raise awareness for pet adoption in Indiana, and is even offering free scratch-off tickets to anyone who adopts a pet from a participating shelter.
