Jan. 8, 2014 – Just after Christmas, the third lucky South Carolina Lottery players picked up his new Honda Rancher 4×4 ATV. He won the locally-manufactured ATV in the very first of the South Carolina Lottery’s Honda second chance promotional drawings.
Now, there are just two weeks left for players to enter non-winning Honda scratch-off tickets into the second chance contest. The second of three drawings will be held Jan. 30, and tickets must be entered a full week ahead of the drawing.
South Carolina Lottery players have probably seen the Honda scratch-off tickets in Lottery retailers; the tickets were released in late August, 2013, nearly six months ago.
The $3 game features overall odds better than 1 in 4, and offered players four $75,000 top prizes when it first debuted. Now, only one of the $75,000 top prizes can still be won instantly on the Honda ticket.
But that isn’t the last chance players will have to score the top cash prize. Along with 10 more ATVs being given away in the final two second chance drawings, the third and final drawing will also award one lucky player with a $75,000 second-chance cash prize.
The date of the final drawing has yet to be announced, but according to the Lottery’s website, it will be no later than 30 days before the Honda tickets are discontinued.
But for now, players can enter for their chance to conquer the roughest terrain on a new Honda Rancher 4×4 ATV. The best part – the ATVs the Lottery is giving away were manufactured right in players’ own backyards, in Timmonsville, S.C.
To enter, players can mail in their tickets with their contact information, or register online on the Lottery’s Honda Second Chance webpage, then enter the codes from non-winning tickets before Jan. 23.
