Oct. 25, 2013 – With Halloween less than a week away, it’s only natural to start thinking of the holiday season. The Wisconsin Lottery is getting in the spirit next Friday with the release of their Holly Jolly Raffle.
This will be the Holly Jolly Raffle’s fourth year, and this year there will be 100,000 tickets for sale, and two $50,000 top prizes.
Each ticket costs $5, and when all 100,000 are gone – they’re gone. Players must buy their tickets before the day of the grand prize drawing, Dec. 12.
Along with the two top prizes of $50,000, the Holly Jolly Raffle will give away 50 cash prizes worth $1,000, and another thousand players will win $100.
The winning numbers will be posted on the Wisconsin Lottery’s website, and players can check their tickets at local retailers as well.
Players will have until June to redeem winning tickets, but since the drawing falls on a Thursday, winners can pick up their prize money as soon as the day after they win.
Third prizes, worth $100, can be claimed at any Wisconsin Lottery retailer. Second prizes and the two grand prizes must be claimed at any Lottery office, visit www.wilottery.com for locations.
