Happy First Day of Fall

Sep 23, 14 Happy First Day of Fall

Sept. 23, 2014 – Summer is officially over today, and while we’ll all miss the warm weather and longer days, Autumn has plenty to offer, too.

For those of you further north, fall means changing colors and crisp, cool air.  Further south, fall is a much-needed reprieve from summer heat.

Of course, for all of us, Fall means pumpkin everything.

It also means that we’re coming into a whole new jackpot season, and what better way to kick it off than with two large jackpots waiting to be won.

Tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot is worth an estimated $83 million, and has a cash value worth an estimated $48 million.

That’s a whole lot of cash, but maybe it’s tomorrow’s Powerball drawing you’re most excited for.  The Powerball jackpot has an estimated value of $225 million for Wednesday’s drawing, with a $134.1 million cash value.

If you’re thinking that you’re “never lucky,” maybe this week is the time to test that idea.  After all, one player in Maryland won a $189 million Mega Millions jackpot around this time last year, and lots of players became millionaires.

Check out the video below to see just how lucky the first week of Fall was in 2013, and don’t forget to pick up your tickets for tonight’s Mega Millions drawing and tomorrow’s Powerball drawing.

Good luck!
