Oct. 15, 2013 – The third of four Early Bird drawings for the New Jersey Lottery’s Halloween Millions Raffle will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, and will award $25,000 in prizes.
Raffle tickets purchased Tuesday will be eligible for Wednesday’s Early Bird drawing. With only two Early Bird drawings left before the multi-state Grand Prize drawing Nov. 1, players looking to better their odds of winning a prize should be looking for a New Jersey Lottery Retailer.
The Halloween Millions Early Bird drawings are exclusive to New Jersey, and each one awards one $10,000 top prize to a lucky New Jersey player. Then, another 150 Raffle players win $100 each week, a 10-to-1 payout on their $10 tickets.
So far, two New Jersey players have won the $10,000 Early Bird prize, and 300 prizes worth $100 have been awarded. To check the results of the first two Early Bird drawings, check out the Halloween Millions webpage on the Lottery’s website.
The multi-state raffle drawing on Nov. 1 will determine at least two winners of $1 million grand prizes, though more $1 million prizes will be added to the drawing if enough tickets are sold to support the extra prize.
Once the new millionaires are chosen, each state without a grand prize winner will have its own, state-exclusive drawing to choose a $50,000 second prize winner.
Overall, the raffle will be paying out half of all sales revenue in prizes. Getting in on New Jersey’s Early Bird drawings only increases the number of chances at winning some cash, and Early Bird winners can win multiple times and still win in the final drawing.
