Feb. 10, 2014 – The D.C. Lottery is keeping the Olympian spirit alive with their Money Medal Madness Powerball promotion, which opened just a week ago.
Players who spend $6 or more on a single Powerball ticket, with or without Power Play, can enter their tickets into the Money Medal Madness promotion.
Players can enter tickets into the promotion until just before midnight on March 1, and there will be one drawing held March 4 to decide three winners.
The third prize winner in the drawing will receive a $1,000 prize, the second prize is worth $5,000 and the top prize for Money Medal Madness is worth $10,000.
When players enter information from their Powerball tickets into the Lottery’s Money Medal Madness promotion, they’ll get one “webcode” that will count as an entry into the contest.
Players can enter into Money Medal Madness as many times as they’d like between now and March 1, but each entry must be a different $6 or more Powerball ticket.
To enter tickets, players must sign in or register for the D.C. Lottery’s Players Club. Registration is free and simple, and gives players access to all of the Lottery’s second chance promotions.
