Aug. 27, 2013 – There’s more than 300 amusement parks in North America, which means you and your family will have plenty of choices when you win the featured prize in the Georgia Lottery’s Play it Again second-chance drawing for September.
The entry period for the September drawing of the Georgia Lottery’s year-long Play it Again second-chance promotion opened yesterday. Players have until Sept. 22 to enter the codes from non-winning $1 and $2 Georgia Lottery scratch-offs for a chance to win one of four “Family Thrills” featured prizes for September.
The “Family Thrills” prize gives you the choice to go to any amusement park in North America with three of your family members or friends. The Georgia Lottery will pay your travel costs and let you choose from three hotels, and you and your guests will get two rooms for up to three nights.
The Lottery will also pay for your admission tickets to the amusement park you choose, and will even cover the bill for ground transportation to and from the hotel! And if all that doesn’t sound like an amazing vacation, the Lottery will put $500 cash in your pocket.
You don’t have to spend three nights in the hotel, and you don’t need to go too far, so any prize money that isn’t spent will be given to you as a cash prize. Overall, the Lottery estimates the Family Thrills prize to be worth $7,900.
Like every other drawing in Georgia’s 12-month Play it Again promotion, you won’t be locked in to the featured prize for that month. Maybe roller coasters aren’t your thing; maybe you’re more of a movie buff – then trade in September’s featured prize for August’s, and build yourself the home theater of your dreams.
You can choose any of the 12 featured prizes offered through the Play it Again promotion, so be sure to check out the whole list on the Play it Again website
Along with the four winners of featured prizes, the September drawing will make winners of more than 1,000 other Georgia Lottery players.
That includes one grand prize winner who will have to choose their cash prize from 20 envelopes. Some hold checks for $100,000, but the grand prize winner has to make a lucky guess – other envelopes only have $5,000 in them!
The rest of the winners on Sept. 24 will receive prize packages for the Georgia Lottery’s Second Chance Bonus Zone, where points can be redeemed for great prizes like flat-screen televisions, electric guitars, jewelry, housewares, and more. Browse the Bonus Zone store to see all the great prizes offered.
