Florida Lottery Introduces Flamingo Game, Second Chance

Jan 08, 14 Florida Lottery Introduces Flamingo Game, Second Chance

Jan. 8, 2014 – The Florida Lottery is kicking off the new year with a brand new game, and along with it a second-chance promotion that will award hundreds of prizes over the next four months.

The Lottery’s new ticket, Flamingo, was released Tuesday and is expected to be available in all of the Florida Lottery’s retailers by Thursday.

Flamingo is a $5 ticket with six top prizes, each worth $250,000.  According to a press release from the Florida Lottery Tuesday, the game features more than $36 million in prize money, and each ticket offers players 12 chances to win.

Any non-winning Flamingo ticket could be your ticket to an unforgettable vacation, though, so don’t toss them in the trash if you don’t win the instant cash.

With the Florida Lottery’s new Forever Fabulous second chance promotion, non-winning Flamingo tickets can be entered for a chance to win one of 30 vacation packages to the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, Nev.

The Lottery will hold three drawings, beginning in February, and 10 winners of the vacation package will be named in each.  Along with the top prize winners, 100 second prize winners from each drawing will be awarded with Flamingo merchandise packages.

The second prize merchandise packages include a set of golf balls, a polo shirt, a watch, and more, all emblazoned with Flamingo’s signature hot pink logo.

The getaway package to the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel will award all 30 winners with all expenses paid VIP stays at the Flamingo, including round-trip airfare and ground transportation around Las Vegas, $1,000 in food and beverage credit, and $250 in spending cash.

Each winner and their lucky guest will also receive VIP tickets to the Donny and Marie Show, and will even get the same great merchandise package that is offered as the second prize in the Forever Fabulous second chance promotion.
