Enter and Scan Lottery Tickets with LotteryHUB App

Jan 10, 14 Enter and Scan Lottery Tickets with LotteryHUB App

Jan. 10, 2014 – Every year, about $800 million in lottery prizes go unclaimed.  Million-dollar tickets are sometimes forgotten, and in November one Florida player’s luck turned out to be worthless after they failed to claim their $16 million share of a Powerball jackpot within Florida’s six-month claim period.

The LotteryHUB mobile app is helping to change the way Powerball players keep track of their tickets, and their winnings, by offering a tool that not only stores their numbers, but checks them against the drawing and alerts players to potential winnings.

LotteryHUB users can enter, and will soon be able to scan lottery tickets into the app.  By choosing the “Notify Me” option in the ticket entry tool, players receive an email notification after the drawing if it looks like they’ve won one of Powerball’s nine prizes.

The ticket entry tool also allows players to check numbers from previous drawings; no more driving down to a lottery retailer to scan lottery tickets with fingers crossed.

LotteryHUB users simply choose the drawing date, then enter tickets into the app, and stars will appear on those numbers that match the winning numbers from the chosen drawing date.

Players need to register with LotteryHUB to receive winner notifications – how else would we know who to send them to?  Registration is simple, and only asks players to enter their age (to make sure they’re 18 or older) and email address; players can also register through Facebook.

Registration has its own added benefits – LotteryHUB registered players can collect LotteryHUB Rewards points, which they can enter into exclusive drawings for the hottest goods from top brands.

Our players love the LotteryHUB app, and we’re improving functionality and user experience every day.  So download the LotteryHUB app today, and change the way you play with our Powerball drawing live-streams, archived numbers, ticket entry and winner notifications.
