The Thirtieth Annual Bite of Oregon is coming to Portland August 9-11, and the Oregon Lottery will be there to help you bite into the fun!
Grab your fork and knife, put on your bib, and fill your plate for the Annual Bite of Oregon Festival. For the past 30 years, Bite of Oregon has been celebrating the food, people, and all their is to indulge in in the state of Oregon. The festival takes place every year by the Portland Waterfront, making it the perfect setting to see the epitome of Oregon.
Come out and sink you teeth into all the events, foods, and drinks available. Their will be food celebrating Oregon’s Bounty. Food will be from local vendors including Adam’s Rib Smokehouse, Canby Asparagus Farm, The Original Shrimp & Crab, and more! There will be craft beers from Oregon breweries. Come enjoy a pint of your favorite brew from places such as Cascade Brewing Co, Deschutes Brewery, Gilgamesh Brewing, Hop Works, and more. These breweries will be pouring cold beers all festival long for you to enjoy(as long as you’re at least 21). Along with a cold beer, enjoy a fine wine. Local wineries and distilleries including Capitello Wines, Chateau Blanco, Crater Lake Vodka & Gin, and more will be serving their best products. Food and drink prices vary from each vendor, with most prices ranging from $2-$9 per item.
Along with the food, enjoy the taste of Oregon entertainment. Check out the Garden Stage sponsored by the Oregon Lottery. The Garden Stage will feature artists such as Soul Vaccination with Special Guest Andy Stokes, Hit Machine, and Redwood Sun. This entertainment is sure to show the uniqueness that is Oregon.
Tickets for the event begin at $5 daily for general admission. You can purchase a Foodie Pack for $30, and save money on beer and food. Other packages include the Family pack for $37 and the Date Night packages for $45. All packages are only valid for one day, but each have their own fun benefits.
The Oregon Lottery will be eating up the fun as well. Look out for the Video Lottery Pop-up team for a chance to get free certificates for Video Lottery and Keno. The Oregon Lottery will also be cooking up drawings for a chance to win prizes at Bite of Oregon. Anyone 18 and up can try for their chance to win, because nothing goes better with great food than winning prizes.
