July 19, 2013 – The New Jersey Lottery launched its new Golden Nugget scratch-off ticket this week, kicking off a race to claim one of the four $100,000 top prizes, as well as 10 chances to win Golden Nugget Getaways in Atlantic City.
The new scratch-off, which costs $5 to play, offers more than $11 million in prizes, and odds of about 1 in 4. The New Jersey Lottery plans to sell about 3.6 million tickets, 58 of the prizes offered will send winners to the Lottery’s claims office.
On top of four $100,000 prizes, there are six $25,000 prizes, 12 $10,000 prizes, and 36 $1,000 prizes up for grabs.
If you purchase a non-winning Golden Nugget ticket, save it! Players can join the NJ Lottery’s VIP club (for free) and enter the codes from non-winning tickets into second-chance drawings or the Lottery’s Million Dollar Replay.
The Golden Nugget second-chance promotion will hold 10 drawings to decide the winners of lavish getaways to the Golden Nugget hotel and casino in Atlantic City, N.J.
Winners of the drawing will spend three nights in the Golden Nugget, and will also win a $1,000 food and beverage credit, $1,000 to spend at the spa, and $1,000 cold hard cash to spend any way they’d like.
