Win The Ultimate Shopping Spree

Sept. 15, 2014 – How would you like to have all your holiday shopping – and more than a few things for yourself – paid for in full?  Now is your chance; the New Hampshire Lottery last week opened the entry period for their Ultimate Prize Giveaway. A winner for the ultimate prize will be chosen in a single drawing on Dec. 4, which gives New Hampshire Lottery players about two-and-a-half months to enter the contest. Whoever the lucky winner is, they’ll be awarded the Ultimate Shopping Spree with gift cards to all three of New Hampshire’s outlet locations: Tanger Outlet in Tilton, Premium Outlets in Merrimack, and the Settler’s Green Outlet in North Conway. The winner will receive a $1,000 gift card to each of the three outlets, and the gift card can be used in any of the outlet stores in each location.  That’s $3,000 in shopping money in all, plenty of cash to cover everyone on your holiday shopping list. The Lottery will also be awarding the winner a $200 gift card to any Common Man restaurant, because you’re bound to work up an appetite after spending $3,000 at the outlets! And, of course, your car will have quite the appetite, too.  The Lottery is also taking away travel woes by providing the winner with a $300 gift card for gasoline from Exxon Mobil stations. Finally, after the Ultimate Shopping Spree experience, the lucky winner will almost definitely want to win more.  The last piece of the ultimate prize will offer just that chance: the winner will receive $500 worth of New  Hampshire Lottery scratch-off tickets, meaning they’ll have a lot of scratching – and hopefully a lot of winning – to do in December. To enter the Ultimate Shopping Spree contest, New Hampshire Lottery players must be registered on NHLotteryReplay.com, the Lottery’s second chance website. Once you’ve registered, enter any non-winning New Hampshire Lottery ticket to earn Rewards points, then redeem those points as entries into the Ultimate Prize contest....

N.H. Lottery Harley Davidson Giveaway Closes Today

July 15, 2014 – There’s only a few hours left for players to enter for their chance to win one of two brand-new Harley Davidson motorcycles from the New Hampshire Lottery. In a special second-chance drawing for players who’ve entered their non-winning Harley Davidson scratch-off tickets into the contest, the New Hampshire Lottery will choose two winners who will each receive a Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle. If you’ve got the itch to ride a motorcycle after seeing thousands of riders flock to New Hampshire’s 91st Annual Laconia Bike Week, this is the perfect contest to win. The New Hampshire Lottery estimates the value of each Street Glide prize package – which includes taxes on the bike – at $30,000.  The motorcycle is a classic Harley Davidson, and comes equipped with everything you’d need on a big tourer. Up front, the Street Glide has an updated “infotainment” center with a four-inch screen, buttons big enough to push with riding gloves on, and 5.25-inch speakers that Harley Davidson says can pump out 25 percent more power than before. But motorcycles aren’t about the gadgets and gizmos, especially not Harley Davidsons.  It’s all about power, and the Street Glide doesn’t disappoint.  With a 103 cu.-in. motor (that’s about 1,700cc for those more familiar with metric measurements), more low-end torque, and more roar, Harley’s classic V-twin motor is better than ever. Of course, two prizes isn’t enough.  New Hampshire Lottery players who enter the Harley Davidson second chance drawing will also have a chance to win one of 10 $500 Harley Davidson gift cards, or Harley Davidson apparel. The entry period for the second-chance contest closes at 4 p.m. today, so hurry and enter your non-winning scratch-offs into the Lottery Replay contest.   Image: WikiMedia Commons User Thesupermat.  Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike 3.0...

N.H. Mega Millions Winner Claims $5 Million Prize

March 25, 2014 – Keene, New Hampshire is home to the winner of the largest-ever Mega Millions prize claimed in the state.  John Walker on Monday claimed the $5 million second-prize he won last Friday. Walker matched the first five winning numbers in the Friday, March 21 Mega Millions drawing – 2, 23, 30, 35, 53 – to win the game’s second prize. That prize is normally worth $1 million, but because Walker spent an extra $1 on the optional Megaplier multiplier, his prize was multiplied five-fold Friday night. The new multi-millionaire purchased his winning ticket at the Park Avenue Deli and Market in Keene.  The store will receive a $30,000 commission for selling the big winning ticket. As for Walker, he’ll take home $3.75 million after taxes, according to a New Hampshire Lottery press release. “It is so thrilling to have a big winning ticket like this sold in New Hampshire,” said Charlie McIntyre, executive director of the New Hampshire Lottery, in a press release. And Walker’s wasn’t the only big win in the past week.  Another New Hampshire player, Paula Giuffrida, won a $1 million prize playing Powerball last...
