July 17, 2013 – One ticket matched the five white balls and the Mega Ball to win a $20 million jackpot on Mega Millions last night. Ahead of Friday’s drawing, the jackpot has reset to it’s guaranteed starting point of $12 million.
The single ticket which matched all six balls was sold in Texas. Tuesday night’s numbers were 10, 14, 21, 40, 53, and the Mega Ball 20.
Last night’s Megaplier – which costs $1 to add to Mega Millions tickets but gives players a chance to double, triple, or quadruple their money – was 2, meaning second tier winning tickets with Megaplier are worth $500,000.
There were four second-tier winners from Michigan, New York, Ohio, and Virginia.
Along with those five big winners, there were 369,487 other winning tickets for any of the other prize levels.
